The International Consumer Research and Testing (ICRT) is the only organisation of its kind, enabling the biggest consumer organisations worldwide to co-operate in providing high quality and independent information to citizens in more than 35 countries.
ICRT members do not accept advertising and are independent of commerce, industry and political parties.
ICRT relies entirely on the fees and contributions from its member organisations including Association des Consommateurs Test-Achats SC (Belgium), Consumentenbond (The Netherlands), Consumer Reports (USA), Stiftung Warentest (Germany), Que Choisir (France) and Which? (UK). We do not receive corporate donations, samples or advertising. We are completely independent, expert and impartial.
ICRT wants to embark upon new or under developed research areas where consumer interest is extremely high, but expensive test costs are a constraint. We also believe that less affluent consumer organisations should be helped to grow and become sustainable, hence empowering consumers to make informed choices, and contribute to the development of a strong civil society.
